Fans of JYJ's Kim Jaejoong is rejoicing after it was announced that the Kpop idol is returning to their TV screens as a panelist on TV Chosun's Taste of Love 2.

The JYJ member will be making his triumphant return to television entertainment after 10 years and Jaefans, as fans of Kim Jaejoong have called themselves, are ecstatic over his addition to the Taste of Love 2 cast, reported All Kpop.

Taste of Love 2 is a reality show where a celebrity and non-celebrity will date under contract for 100 days. After the contract is up, the pair must decide whether they would like to continue dating or go their separate ways. Kim Jaejoong is expected to join the panel along with MCs Park Na-rae and Choi Hwa-jung.

Among the actors who were already featured on the show were Go Joo Won, Oh Chang Suk, and Lee Hyung Chul. Music stars Jang Woo Hyuk and Cheon Myung Hoon are now appearing on the show as well. While JYJ's Kim Jaejoong would have made a fine addition to the dating cast given his popularity among the fans,  his supporters are already very happy over the news of his participation in the show. The Kpop idol turned Kdrama actor last appeared in Manhole in 2017.

Early in the year, Kim Jaejoong opened up about being harassed by some fans who broke into his bedroom in the middle of the night. In an interview with Japanese TV show Gyoretsuno Dekiru Horitsu Sodanjo, the actor made the shocking revelation that he was sexually assaulted by the fans.

While Kim Jaejoong did not go into specifics into which country this happened, the idol said that this was not an isolated incident as it happened to him at least 10 times. Based on his account, some fans broke into his bedroom and climbed on top of him while he was sleeping.

While he has been laying low with projects in Korea, Kim Jaejoong has been quite busy making a name for himself in Japan. Last April, he released his first Japanese album Flawless Love and completed 12 concerts across Japan which ended last month.

This was the first full-length Japanese album for the Korean idol who originally made his debut in Japan 14 years ago. The album contains 15 tracks including seven original songs, four previously released singles and four Korean songs that were translated to Japanese, Hello Kpop reported.
