Disney is meticulous when it comes to their films and materials. And possibly, this may be the reason why Frozen took almost six years before a sequel could happen. But today, the long wait is getting much shorter every day as the premiere date of Frozen 2 fast approaches.
The sequel to one of the most popular Disney films in recent years is set to arrive on November 22 of this year. And as June enters, a new trailer has been released.
The new two-minute teaser trailer reveals several things about the plot of Frozen 2. And in comparison to the first official trailer, which has been dropped last February, this new material makes the sequel more exciting and interesting. This is because it has become more informative and less cryptic than the first teaser.
At first look, it seemingly appears that the sequel will feature more magic and charms including magical creatures and enchanting places. As it happens, Pabble, the wisest of the trolls, approached Elsa and Anna and asked her to go North. This is actually because he told them that the past is not what it seems to be. Accordingly, she must find the truth.
This statement made by Pabble shows that there is more to Elsa and Anna's parents' lives before they were born. Therefore, many of the fans are speculating that Frozen 2 will finally reveal how Elsa got her powers.
There is also another theory that Elsa's parents have powers as well due to the clip that showed their mother and her adoration for the Aurora Borealis or the Northern Lights. Also, it looks like that Elsa is harnessing further her powers since Pabble told her that her capabilities are actually out of this world.
But aside from the secrets and revelations, the journey that they will go through, along with the whole crew, will not be an easy one. Pabble also warned them that challenges would arise along the way. And just right before the trailer ends, the teaser showed that a gigantic stone in the form of a possible gorilla would be the big bad of the film.
With all these things at hand, Frozen 2 is becoming more exciting. And it looks like that the fans can no longer wait for its premiere. Even so, there are still five more months left. Hence, the fans will just need to savor the released trailers for the time being.
