There is already so much to look forward to in Spider-Man: Far From Home. After all, the second Spider-Man film will be the first movie set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe after the events in Avengers: Endgame. But is it possible that Tony Stark will be more than just a memory in the highly anticipated flick? A new leak from Far From Home reveals that Robert Downey Jr. is set for an interesting cameo.

In Avengers: Endgame, the heroes managed to bring back everyone who disappeared when Thanos snapped his fingers. Unfortunately, they still had to face the Mad Titan in an epic battle in the third act. This led to Tony Stark wearing the new Infinity Gauntlet to snap Thanos away, and the radiation led to his death. However, it looks like Iron Man isn't completely gone after all.

There have been speculations that Robert Downey Jr. could still return in future MCU films. Although it is unlikely that there will be a fourth Iron Man movie, a recent leak reveals that Downey has a cameo in Spider-Man: Far From Home. Unfortunately, that doesn't mean that Tony Stark survived after Avengers: Endgame.

According to the leak, Robert Downey Jr. could appear as an AI version of Tony Stark when Peter Parker puts on Tony's old glasses. This certainly would explain why the Spider-Man: Far From Home trailer shows Peter taking off the glasses with an awed reaction. Did he just see his mentor when he slipped the glasses on? If this is true, it could mean that Tony will still be helping Peter even after his death.

The death of Tony Stark certainly appears to have a strong effect on Peter Parker throughout the Far From Home trailer. Interestingly, Peter even states that he sees Tony's face everywhere he goes. In addition to that, Happy Hogan tells Peter that Tony wouldn't have done what he did in Endgame if he didn't know that Peter would still be around after Tony's death. With that in mind, it wouldn't be a surprise if Tony had prepared an AI of himself to guide Peter when Tony is gone.

For now, it is still unclear if Robert Downey Jr. will play a larger role in Far From Home, so it is best to take this with a grain of salt. Nevertheless, there is hope that Iron Man will still live on despite his unfortunate passing in Endgame.

Will Tony Stark continue helping Peter Parker? Find out when Spider-Man: Far From Home hits theaters on July 2.
