Breaking News: Song Joong Ki, Song Hye Kyo Devoice Rumors Come Ture, Song-Song Couple Ending Their Marriage
Many fans are now hooked with the popular tvN series titled Arthdal Chronicles, which stars Song Joong Ki, Kim Ji Won, Kim Ok Vin, and Jang Don Gun. The previous episodes of the new show drew flaks since it, reportedly, has some similarities with HBO's Game of Thrones series. Critics even claimed that the new series did not reach their expectations, especially with the significant amount of money invested in the latest project of Song Hye Kyo's husband.
On June 2, Arthdal Chronicles producer Kim Won Seok took to social media to express his feelings after receiving major backlash when the show started. "I just have to be the guy who doesn't work hard," Kim stated. "It doesn't mean I wasn't diligent enough, but I will think of it that way, because otherwise, [the reality] hurts too much," the man behind the Song Joong Ki-led show added.
Kim wrote another post a few hours later and thanked his supporters who continued to believe in him. The producer added that he would do his best to give viewers a show that is of high-quality and well thought of. Kim added that, amid the criticism, he would work harder until the end. Song Joong Ki, Jang Dong Gun, Kim Ji Won, and Kim Ok Vin have remained silent about the copyright issues.
Meanwhile, there is a brewing tension between the characters of Song Joong Ki and Jang Dong Gun in Arthdal Chronicles after some members of the Wahan tribe were abducted and put into prison. In fact, in the June 9 episode, Eun Seom, who is portrayed by Song Hye Kyo's husband, kidnapped the leader of the Arthdal Union, Sanung Niruha (Kim Eun Sung) in an attempt to get his friends back.
Song Joong Ki's character held the Sanung Niruha in captive to barter for the lives of the Wahan tribe members. Ta Gon, played by Jang Dong Gun, decided to drop by Eun Seom's tower to negotiate for his father's life. Instead of talking in peace, the episode concluded with Eun Som and Ta Gon holding knives as they try to hurt each other.
In the new photos released recently, Song Joong Ki appeared more serious sans his war paint from the latest episode. This, according to spoilers, is the very chapter wherein Eun Seom would transform into a Wahan warrior after plotting a rescue plan for his tribemates. Part of his plan is to take the Arthdal Union down.
Aside from Song Joong Ki's character, other snaps featured Taealha and Ta Gon together. For starters, the character of Kim Ok Bin is a daughter of a tribe leader who demands her to marry Sanung Niruha so they, too, could enjoy the privileges given to him. However, the new photos suggested that Taealha and Ta Gon are likely to develop an intimate relationship after they confronted over the falsehoods they have been telling each other.
