Many fans are now excited about the upcoming premiere of Riverdale Season 4. The popular American teen drama television series that is based on the Archie Comics characters had a successful three-season run. However, due to the lack of details about the plot of the imminent fourth installment, devoted followers of the show have started speculating on what would happen in the future.
Archie Andrews (KJ Apa), Veronica Lodge (Camila Mendez), and Better Cooper (Lili Reinhart) were seen standing around a campfire in the Season 3 finale. In the third installment's final episode, the three main characters agreed to never talked about something and how badly they needed to get rid of the blood stains off their hands before burning it. The scene had fans speculating about what could happen to Jughead Jones (Cole Sprouse) in Riverdale Season 4.
Some devoted viewers claimed that Jughead could be dead or in a serious danger in the up-and-coming fourth installment. However, Cole teased that none of the series' main characters would be killed off in Riverdale Season 4. The 26-year-old American actor revealed to PopBuzz that he wants to see Jughead figuring out how his own family affected his life in all levels.
"I think when Riverdale is at its strongest it's about the characters, their dynamics, their personal narratives and their relationships with one another. And I think Jughead asking himself how his family has affected him - is what I'd kind of like to see," Cole Sprouse stated when asked about the future of his character in Riverdale Season 4. "But I also think I'd love to see a Jughead that feels kind of like a season one Jughead, which is much more of a quiet sort of monologue side," he added.
Cole furthered that there is a lot of potential narratives for Jughead and FP (Skeet Elrich) for the upcoming new season. The Disney alum even suggested that the duo could even work hand-in-hand to investigate crimes in Riverdale. Reports suggested that Jughead's detective persona could make a comeback in the forthcoming Riverdale Season 4.
Other theories claimed that the disappearance of Cole Sprouse's character could be a part of Hiram Lodge's revenge. Even though Hermione (Marisol Nichols) is now behind bars, the character of Mark Consuelos is believed to have plans for the core four. This, also, opened to another possibility that Archie, Betty, and Veronica might be put in a serious danger in the imminent Riverdale Season 4.
