Nicki Minaj has been noticeably absent on social media sites for the past few weeks. The rapper has hardly posted anything on her Instagram and Twitter in a while. After her recent post though, people have started to believe it was to prepare for a great comeback with another one of her projects.

The 36-year-old recently posted some teasers about an upcoming music video. She took to Instagram to share some behind-the-scenes photographs of what seems to be a shoot for a music video. Her most recent post was a photo with word art that spelled out the probable title of her new and upcoming single, "Megatron."

The photographs included shots of her with long black curly hair, wearing what appeared to be a candy-colored striped bikini while squatting in heels. Another picture featured the Trinidad-and-Tobago-born in full-out glam, standing in front of a neon green sports car.

During the rapping sensation's hiatus from social media, her fans have been talking about missing their queen so much. Some have gone so far as to edit pictures and make posters about her.

These Minaj supporters have been tagging her endlessly, hoping to get their idol's attention. So when the performer had started dropping hints about some new music coming out, these die-hard fans rejoiced.

Moreover, some fans have been speculating and forming theories about a certain big name celebrity and linking her to Minaj's upcoming music video.

Blac Chyna had recently been posting pictures on her Instagram story. What grabbed the netizens' attention was the background in the photos, which looked too similar to that in images Minaj dropped on her account to hype up her new single.

People were quick to think that the reality star's stories about the "Megatron" music video meant she would probably appear in the rapper's video for a cameo.

However, Minaj recently shot down those rumors of a Blac Chyna appearance in the aforementioned new, upcoming music video. She again took to social media and posted in her story that the rumors were sadly untrue and that Chyna does not have any part in the upcoming "Megatron" music video.

She explained that, from what she understood, Chyna was just showing her some love and support and helping to hype and promote her new project. She also added a sweet message of congratulations to the 31-year-old reality star on the latter's new television show.

Minaj also wrote that, since fans were looking forward to seeing Minaj and Chyna together, she may be thinking about inviting her to be a guest of #QueenRadio anytime soon.

Speculations about the "Megatron" music video release date were sparked after the rapper's post. It is believed the MV will come out on June 21.
