Melania T., as President Donald Trump nicknamed his wife, stunned the crowd in her pricey canary yellow Ralph Lauren jumpsuit at his 2020 presidential campaign in Florida Tuesday.
Twitter came alive once more over the First Lady's fashion statement. One user pointed out that she was "absolutely stunning" no matter where she appears while another said that she was a "simply electrifying" first lady. Still another referred to Melania as "absolutely gorgeous" and the "most," among first ladies, "elegant" as well as "gracious."
Yet there were others who were not impressed, with one in particular tweeting that her "canary yellow" was a "match" to her husband's "orangeness." Another tweeted, asking how come Melania was "dressed" in the color of a "school bus" while yet one more asked why she was sporting a "banana costume."
One tweeted, making reference to Michelle Obama who had accordingly worn the same hue some months back and implying Melania had worn the same in order for "media" to write a "new story" or get a calculated reaction from social media that the FLOTUS was a "victim" and "abused" by the "Democrats."
At the rally, while the First Lady of the United States seldom takes the podium and more infrequently still gives any more than a few words, she invited more attention than usual when she introduced her husband at the "Make America Great Again" (MAGA) gathering at Orlando, Florida.
For the occasion, the FLOTUS' bright yellow £2,340 worth designer jumpsuit made an impression and was worn to catch attention and keep it. Some believe it to have been a calculated move that ensured anyone watching would not miss what she said about her husband, who later took the microphone to announce his bid for another term in the Oval Office.
Wearing a gold belt with her outfit and more yellow in footwear, she spoke of her husband's work in the last couple of years in office and praised him for what he achieved so far. Her tone was as optimistic as the color that she wore, as she declared how the President "truly loves" the United States.
She also went on to say that Trump would "continue" to do his job of working "in behalf" of the people of America "as long" as he could possibly do. The First Lady of the United States went on to tell the crowd how it was her "honor" to have served so far and that she herself felt "excited" about being able to do so for another term.
Melania told the crowd of Trump supporters that she was "proud" of what her husband and "his administration" as well as that her whole family have accomplished in "behalf" of the people of the United States.
When the President took the mic, he began to speak of what he had attained while in office, making reference to the 2016 elections as being a defining moment in history, among others. He trashed what he has frequently referred to as "fake news media," at the same time mentioning the Mueller report.
Ivanka Trump, the president's daughter, and Jared Kushner, her husband, were also present. Ivanka had worn white with an orange flower captured in beads for contrast.
