A royal expert claims that Queen Elizabeth doesn't have an "intimate relationship" with Kate Middleton, while Meghan Markle knows how to make the monarch laugh.

According to the editor-in-chief of Majesty Magazine Ingrid Seward, Her Majesty and the Duchess of Cambridge don't have a lot of things in common apart from their royal duties. She then said the monarch has something in common with the Duchess of Sussex, as both of them love dogs.

In a report from The Sun, Seward noted Queen Elizabeth admires Middleton. However, the two royal ladies reportedly don't have "intimate relationship" because they don't have a lot of things in common. The royal commentator added that their relationship is probably a more serious one, especially since the Duchess of Cambridge holds the monarch's hope for the future and she doesn't wasn't to ruin that.

As per Seward, she doesn't see what other things the Queen and the Duchess share aside from their royal duties. Also, Middleton is reportedly a shy woman, so the common subject - such as horses - is very helpful. The Queen's common bond with Prince William's wife would be her children.

When it comes to the Duchess of Sussex, Queen Elizabeth would reportedly tread carefully and will do her best just to make her feel at home. Seward said the two have a love of dogs and Markle reportedly knows how to make Her Majesty laugh.

This seemed to be true as during their joint public engagement in Cheshire in 2018, the monarch and the Duchess were seen giggling and sharing jokes. During those times, Markle was just married to Prince Harry for a month, but she and the Queen seemed to get along really well.

In another related report, Queen Elizabeth reportedly sees Middleton and Markle differently. Body language expert Judi James claims the monarch sees the Duchess of Cambridge as a "friend" and they have some "obvious similarities," while she sees the Duchess of Sussex as a "younger royal."

James said Middleton is an "adept masker" who uses body language techniques to hide her inner feelings - just like the Queen. The two reportedly perfected social media smile and non-verbal traits which were ideal for their job.

Then, the body language expert explained that the relationship between Markle and Her Majesty is new, and they're currently in "forming stage." James noted the reason why the monarch treats the Duchess of Cambridge and Duchess of Sussex differently is that the latter has just recently joined the royal family.
