Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have only been married for over a year, but it looks like problems in their relationship are rearing its ugly head. Reports have revealed that the Duke of Sussex gave his wife an ultimatum just before announcing she was pregnant, and this left the Duchess in tears.

According to News Live on YouTube Meghan hurriedly left London one time to fly to Canada. She had been fighting with Prince Harry over her family, and this happened just a few months after their marriage.

The report cited that the Royals didn't appreciate the way Meghan's father, Thomas Markle, behaved in the media. It's no secret that Thomas has been saying controversial statements and granting interviews without clearing it up with his daughter.

It has also been alleged that Meghan knew of what her father was up to and because of this, Harry reportedly wanted to wait to have a baby with the Duchess. He was hoping that this family drama would be sorted out and he gave his wife an ultimatum to fix things with her kin.

Meghan has cut off ties with her father and her half-sister Samantha Markle, who has also been talking to the press about their family. According to a royal expert, the Duchess is a "victim" of her family's jealousy.

"It's a very unusual situation, especially for a father to be jealous of his own daughter," royal correspondent Melanie Bromley told Daily Express. "They enjoy the attention; they know the way to get Meghan's attention is not to continue speaking and badmouthing her, yet they continue anyway. What happened is that Meghan has made them relevant."

Bromley also said that Meghan made the right choice not to reach out to her family because they cannot be trusted. Her sister, however, stated that they had extended the olive branch and the ball to reconciliation is now in Meghan's court.

Meanwhile, the palace has officially confirmed that the Sussex royals will be going to their official tour of Africa with their baby Archie Harrison. In a post on Instagram, the couple confirmed that this would be their "first official tour as a family."

"The Duke and Duchess are looking forward to meeting so many of you on the ground and continuing to raise awareness of the high impact work local communities are doing across the commonwealth and beyond," the announcement stated.
