Chinese tech company Lenovo recently confirmed that its flagship smartphone, the Lenovo Z6, will have exciting camera specs. The upcoming smartphone will sport a powerful 24-megapixel Sony IMX576 as its primary camera sensor. The company has been quite busy in sharing specification of the upcoming smartphone to draw attention and gain market traction.

The Lenovo Z6 sits in the middle of the Lenovo Z6 Pro and its toned-down sibling, the Lenovo Z6 Youth Edition.

Lenovo has been quite busy revealing several interesting specs about the Z6 through the company's Weibo page. Among the details confirmed are the phone's battery capacity and its chipset. More recently, the company revealed some interesting detail about the phone's camera.

The Lenovo Z6 will sport a three-camera configuration. Its primary sensor is a 24-megapixel Sony IMX576 with an f/1.8 aperture. Its secondary camera is rated at 5-megapixel while the third is rated at 8-megapixel. The phone also has an 8x hybrid zoom and 2x optical zoom feature. The Z6 also has a 16-megapixel front-facing camera for video chatting and taking selfies.

As for its chipset, the phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 chipset with an octa-core processor. It has a 2+6 core arrangement with its main Kryo 470 processor clocked at 2.2GHz. The graphical aspect of the chipset is handled by an Adreno 618 GPU.

Lenovo has already confirmed that the Z6 will have a 4,000mAh battery pack which comes supported by the company's trademark 15W Quick Charge 3.0 fast charging technology. Lenovo claims that the massive battery pack of the Z6 is capable of up to 395 hours when in standby mode, 38 hours of talk time, 26 hours of video playback, and 16 hours when gaming.

As for its screen real estate, the Lenovo Z6 is expected to have a 6.39-inch display. Lenovo has yet to provide details such as color depth, resolution, and ppi of the Z6. Nevertheless, its two siblings both feature a teardrop-like notch which houses its front-facing camera located on the top-center of its screen. The Lenovo Z6 is also expected to have this particular feature.

Unlike the Lenovo Z6 Pro which is getting a 5G version, the company has yet to confirm whether a 5G-ready version of the Z6 will be released. With networks now slowly implementing 5G technology, it would be a neat feature if the Z6 will support it as well.
