American Princess is about to come to an end after Lifetime decides to air back-to-back episodes. As the conclusion of Amanda's (Georgia Flood) story seems so rushed, will fans get to see her return for Season 2?
Amanda and David (Lucas Neff) have to do everything in their power to be lively tour guides amidst having the most boring Renaissance Faire guests ever. The two have to entertain this corporate group, while there will be someone who will startle Amanda and the rest of the fair's employees, per CarterMatt.
"Amanda and David are forced to take a corporate group around the Renaissance Festival together," American Princess Episode 9 official synopsis read. "Brian [Rory O'Malley] and Juan Andres [Juan Alfonso] double-date with Natasha [Sophie von Haselberg], Phil [Edgar Blackmon] and Stephen [Ross Bryant]; Delilah [Mary Hollis Inboden] manages her residual emotions from the trial."
As American Princess Episode 9 works as the show's penultimate episode, it will set the stage for the season finale. Everything that will happen here will be carried to the final episode. However, it remains to be seen if Lifetime will renew the show for a second season.
In an interview with executive producer Mark A Burley, he talked about the possibility of having American Princess Season 2. "We have not heard yet," he told MEA WorldWide.
Burley admitted he has been busy; thus, he hasn't monitored the show's ratings and viewership. "And I'm not sure not having worked in that area for a little while because I've been working on things that are internet-based," he explained.
Working with Lifetime is a little different for Burley. However, he is still hopeful there will be American Princess Season 2. Burley knows people enjoy watching the show, and he is expecting the network will come to consider it.
Although he is not particular with how many people are watching the series, he hopes it will excite Lifetime to do another season. Burley also teased that the end of Season 1 is set to continue its story in Season 2.
The show has been praised for featuring a big similarity between the real Renaissance Faire lifestyle and what it portrays in the show. So if ever fans get to see its continuation in American Princess Season 2, it will surely stick to its theme. American Princess Episode 9, "You Can Always Trust Your Vaganya," is set to be out on Tuesday, July 9.
