Ginnifer Goodwin revealed she is open to appearing in Manifest season 2, yet that's out of her control right now. But, the actress shows her interest in the NBC series and all they have to do is to ask since she's open to being a part of the upcoming installment when it arrives.

Goodwin, who's married to Manifest star Josh Dallas, revealed to TVLine that she's willing to join Manifest season 2. The former Once Upon a Time actress said she'd love to appear in the show, so all they have to do is to ask. As for her possible role, she said there were many people on the plane, and she could be one of those.

It would be nice to see Goodwin in the second season, as long as her role would bring some twists in the show. However, the actress is busy with her gig on CBS All Access right now, so if ever she'll join the NBC series, her role would likely be a recurring one.

Meanwhile, Manifest season 2 needs to address the things that happened at the end of season 1 finale, particularly about the shooting. With that, viewers will have a better sense of what the ticking clock of death means, and if there's a way to change one's faith no matter how much time they've left.

That cliffhanger in the previous season might deliver some answers on the second installment. But, what's intriguing is that someone was shot, though that doesn't mean that he or she may die. There are other similar shooting cliffhangers that many assumed a character dies, but when a show returns, that character survives.

Thus, whoever was shot in the season 1 finale will probably be back. But aside from that cliffhanger, the core emotions of the story would still be relationships. The show is not just about mysteries, but instead, it's all about family and fighting for the future.

Right now, there were only a few details about Manifest season 2, but it will reportedly premiere on NBC in 2020. While the first season has 16 episodes, the upcoming installment is said to only have 13 episodes.

For now, there were no updates regarding who's coming back and who's not as the filming will reportedly kick off this summer, so NBC would probably release more details from there.
