Agents of SHIELD season 6 episode 7 recently aired on ABC and it seems like the show it's getting back to normal. Here's what happened in the previously released episode, titled "Toldja."
Viewers have witnessed Mack, May, Daisy, as well as others trying to do everything they can just to stop the Shrike in Agents of SHIELD season 6 episode 7. While Sarge is part of the operation, it does not necessarily mean that he's also part of the team. Mack, in particular, didn't like the idea being with this man - especially since he looks like Coulson.
From there, an odd relationship was created, and it became even odder when Mack saw the Coulson hologram. He needs to accept that Coulson and Sarge are different people, though the latter isn't likely a full-on villain. However, it's clear he also has his agenda, and he'll do his best to make it happen.
Mack eventually negotiates with Sarge so that he would know some of the Shrike's weaknesses. It turns out they were afraid of cold, so they froze them and splintered away. But while it's good news they were able to defeat the monster, the bad news is that they still need the help of Sarge. He gets what he wants, and the team has to admit they still need his help right now.
Meanwhile, as for Fitz and Simmons, they're finding ways on how they could get back to the Earth. Even though Enoch freed them from their confinement, going back home wouldn't be easy for them. Aside from getting resources, they needed a ship to go back to the Earth.
The good thing is that they were able to arrange a meeting and get a ship that would take them home. Perhaps, what' surprising at the end of Agents of SHIELD season 6 episode 7 is a farewell to Enoch. Many were confused if he's leaving or not, but it seems like he feels that his mission was already done.
As for the next episode, the characters will work together as they have one goal in mind - but they are facing another threat again. According to the synopsis of the Collision Course (Part 1), to face The Galaxy-Hopping Hate-Beast That Eats Planets, the team on Earth asks for help in all wrong places.
