Is Jake Gyllenhaal the latest BLACKPINK fanboy? It would seem that BLINKs, BLACKPINK's official fandom can recognize one of their own, especially when the alleged fanboy can lipsynch their idol's song perfectly.
In an Instagram story which he also posted on his Twitter account, Jake Gyllenhaal, who is currently promoting Spider-man Far From Home in South Korea, is seen looking out the window as the BLACKPINK hit DDU DU DDU DU plays in the background. However, when the song hits its climax, the actor turns to the camera and instinctively lipsynchs flawlessly to the track, Soompi reported.

After nailing the song, he shares a mischievous grin with the camera which seems to indicate that the secret is out. Fans were of course, excited to have a big Hollywood star like Jake Gyllenhaal familiar with a BLACKPINK song.
This does not come as a huge surprise though because the music of BLACKPINK's Jennie, Jisoo, Lisa and Rose have been making waves not only in Korea but all over the world.
DDU DU DDU DU is one of BLACKPINK's biggest hits in the US. The song is nominated as the Choice Song in the upcoming Teen Choice Awards in August. Jennie, Jisoo, Lisa, and Rose have also picked up a nomination for Choice International Artist which is a huge honor for BLACKPINK and BLINKs, who will be honored as the top fandom if the girls emerge on top.
BLACKPINK's DDU DU DDU DU MV is also one of the top viewed music videos on the youtube platform and currently holds a record for 866,399, 412 views. The DDU DU DDU DU dance practice version uploaded on the BLACKPINK page has also been viewed by 234,219,531 times since it was uploaded in June, last year.
The Kill This Love MV, which BLACKPINK is promoting in their Your Area World Tour, also holds the youtube record for the fastest Kpop MV to reach the landmark 450 million views. The video was uploaded less than two months ago and is steadily headed towards the 500 million views mark. Since it achieved the record for 450 million views, BLINKs have managed to stream the Kill This Love MV another five million times in a day, BT reported.
BLACKPINK also topped girl idols' brand reputation rankings for June. For the group idol category, they only trailed BTS in the overall rankings.
