Many were wondering if Chandler Riggs, who plays PJ, will return in A Million Little Things season 2. But, fans shouldn't worry now as the show's executive producer confirmed he would have a "big part" in the upcoming installment.
In his Twitter post, DJ Nash said Riggs would be part of A Million Little Things season 2 and his role this time would be important. The actor's character first appeared near the end of season 1, and his relationship with other characters felt essential.
Some fans were initially worried he might not be coming back in the second installment, considering the amount of time he spent on the series. But now that Nash guaranteed Riggs is coming back, that's already enough for them.

His Twitter post is validation that even though the actor hasn't had a huge role in the first season, his presence in A Million Little Things season 2 would likely make an impact.
It's worth noting that Riggs has spent many of his years on The Walking Dead, and some believe he's one of the show's underrated performers. But, his role in A Million Little Things would be different now, which is appealing to a different audience as well.
On the other note, it was recently confirmed that filming for the second installment is underway. The news was first confirmed by the cast and crew members via social media. The first season started as a potential TV underdog story of ABC.
Back then, it was hard to figure out how the story was going to be, especially since some coined it as This Is Us version 2. While the two series have similarities, both of them are different in terms of content.
Also, A Million Little Things was renewed for a second season since it had proved its good performance on the network. The series focuses on certain people and some of the moments they had with each other. Nash and the rest of the creative team likely focused more of this on the upcoming installment.
Aside from the story, it is also possible there will be new faces, as well as new opportunities to learn more about the old ones. Some of the cast members of the series include Lizzy Greene, Tristan Byon, Stéphanie Szostak, James Roday, Grace Park, Christina Ochoa, Christina Moses, Allison Miller, Romany Malco, and David Giuntoli.
A Million Little Things season 2 will reportedly air on ABC this fall.
