Born in 1988, Princess Beatrice is not exactly an immediate heir to the British throne. Nevertheless, she has always stood up as one of the beacons when it comes to promoting humility, public services, and the royal life in general. She is the eldest daughter of the Duke and Duchess of York, which essentially makes her among the most influential figures in a modern-day monarchy. Despite living a highly secured life, there is still a handful of news that slips that gave a glimpse of what it is like to live a life like Princess Beatrice.

Her Royal Highness Princess Beatrice

Princess Beatrice is just one of the three royalties in the entire British monarchy whose names are preceded by a very rare royal designation: Her Royal Highness. The other one being her sister Princess Eugenie. The third is the daughter of Prince William and the Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, Princess Charlotte. This status puts Princess Beatrice in a very interesting position in the British monarchy.

Her Succession To The Throne

Although not an immediate heir to the throne, Princess Beatrice is somewhat close. She is the first child of the Duke and the Duchess of York. This makes her the fifth grandchild of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh. Before the Succession to the Crown Act was enacted in 2013, the Princess was considered to be the first female heir to the line of succession.

She Conquered Dyslexia

Early in her life, the Princess battled bouts of dyslexia. Despite contracting the illness early in her childhood, the princess was able to conquer it. She is now hailed as the patron of the Helen Arkell Dyslexia Center, a testament to her devotion to curing the sickness that once afflicted her.

She Loves Graffiti

Graffiti art is not exactly the type that you could usually associate with royalty. Nevertheless, the princess has developed quite a liking into this niche art scene. She and her sister Eugenie have worked alongside their mother to collaborate with notable British artist Teddy M in producing the first-ever monarchy-inspired graffiti painting. Properly titled as the "Royal Graffiti," the painting featured the handwritings of three royals and was eventually auctioned for charity.

She Appeared In A Feature Film

This comes as no surprise since the Princess once studied drama. She is the first member of the British royalty to appear in a feature film. The film was "Young Victoria," and it tells the story of the real-life Queen Victoria during her early years.
