On Tuesday, AMD released one of the most exciting graphics cards to ever hit the modern market. Dubbed simply as the Radeon Pro WX 3200, it packs a robust set of hardware. What is even more interesting about this latest AMD creation is its price. With its market niche target on the sub-$200 markets, the graphics card offers a lot of option and dilemma to the tech community.

The Radeon Pro WX 3200, just like most of its predecessor, is based on AMD's famed Polaris architecture. It boasts an impressive 640 stream processor which can achieve speeds in excess of 1.5 TFLOPS even on single core tests. The video card packs 4GB of GDRR5 of graphics memory. In terms of output, it has four mini DisplayPort 1.4 slot. This means that the card can handle up to four displays running on 4K resolution simultaneously without a hitch. It is also capable of handle two display outputs, each with 8K resolution.

In terms of market presence, the Radeon Pro WX 3200 is expected to challenge the powerful Nvidia Quadro P1000 and the Quadro P620. Both Quadro graphics cards are revered in their own unique way. Nevertheless, with the emergence of AMD's new graphics cars, it appears that the Quadro brand has a lot to deal with.

In terms of specs, the Radeon Pro WX 3200 sits comfortably between the Quadro P1000 and the Quadro P620. While these two cards are powerful enough for their generation, AMD's new Radeon lineup is challenging the powers that be.

It comes as no surprise that AMD has always been synonymous with budget gaming. While the company's latest flagship graphics card may not be considered as the king of the hill, it is still just as powerful, especially if you consider the price-to-performance ratio.

AMD Radeon graphics card have their own niche of users, just like those devoted to the Nvidia brand. Nevertheless, it would appear that AMD has pushed the mark further and higher than what Nvidia had anticipated.

It is true that AMD graphics card cannot compete directly with their Nvidia graphics cards. However, when set into a particular setup, AMD graphics cards have always performed way beyond what is expected of them.

AMD is expected to launch the Radeon Pro WX 3200 within the third quarter of this year. Once released, several variants of the CPU is expected to hit the market as well. Companies like HP and Dell are sure to capitalize on this growing market.
