A$AP Rocky was recently arrested in Stockholm, Sweden, for reportedly being involved in a brutal and violent street fight with some locals. The American rapper has been arrested and will be held by authorities until prosecutors decide whether to press some charges against him.

If they do, Rocky might serve time up to six years in a Swedish prison for his barbaric behavior abroad. At present, the star is arrested but has not yet been charged with any crimes by the prosecutors.

Ironically, Rocky once used to rap about how one day he might find himself dying in prison, but in hindsight he may not have been aware of the truth to his prophetic lyrics. The hip-hop sensation was allegedly seized by police officers in Sweden for his alleged role in a street brawl, alongside his bodyguards and a few other companions in Stockholm.

Even though it has been made to seem like Rocky is a violent and impulsive person who is in the wrong in this situation, a series of videos the rapper has posted to his Instagram could quite possibly clear his name.

In the videos, there were two male locals who were, apparently, relentlessly following Rocky and his company around. Rocky's bodyguard had asked them in a firm but polite way to go the other way and leave them alone.

But the two Swedish men persisted on tailing them outside of a restaurant they had just been in, all the way into an alleyway. The bodyguard had been repeatedly asking them to go the other way and mind their own business, and the more they persisted, the less calm the bodyguard was with handling their unreasonable natures.

After a dozen rounds of being asked to go an opposite direction and to quit following them, one of the men forcefully swung his earphones at the bodyguard which resulted in them getting thoroughly damaged. This had angered the local and the pair were engaged in a heated conversation.

Upon the development of the events, Rocky stepped out from behind his body guard, placed his hands on both of the men's shoulders and told them frankly that they were not looking for any trouble here, and did not want to get into jail.

The local protested about his damaged property, blaming Rocky's bodyguard for the destruction. After an exchange of more heated arguments with the said locals, Rocky had thrown in a punch and dragged one of the men and threw him on the street. His bodyguard had helped in and dealt with the other local who had been harassing them as well.

A woman passing through caught the scene on tape and later on revealed in the video that, while the two men were trying to follow and stalk Rocky around, the woman and her friend crossed paths with them and the same two locals had groped them and smacked their behinds.

There is still no direct word from Rocky as of the moment, and people are also looking to the star's publicist and team of lawyers to release a statement about the fiasco in Sweden.

But more recent reports have it that the 30-year-old as well as three more individuals were arrested Tuesday evening, but it was after Rocky voluntarily went to the police. Upon presenting himself, he was taken into custody on "restricted visitation" which means he could only speak to his appointed legal counsel.

It is confirmed they have not as yet been charged as, based on the laws of Sweden, suspects may be placed under custody for as long as three days before they are to face a judge. Rocky and the others arrested are held for suspicions of assault, based on the online video which had recorded the altercation.

What is a matter for alarm is that, when it is the "standard" procedure where any American is concerned for the United States Embassy to be informed as soon as an arrest is made, there had been no word sent about Rocky's being held in custody. Furthermore, the police who have him have refused to allow the embassy's representative to see the rapper and his group.

The concern has been brought to the attention of the Swedish Embassy in Washington, as the matter has become quite serious, and there is now considered a "breach" of human rights, considering that the video, which has been viewed 3.8 million times, clearly shows that the American music artist and his team did not instigate the incident.

The rapper, who hails from Harlem, did have a chance to post his innocence on Instagram after the said assault.
