Princess Eugenie is one of the royals who is super dedicated to campaigning and acting on saving the planet. She has been very vocal and proactive about her advocacy that promotes sustainability, and has effectively used her platform and title to encourage as well as inspire other people to do their fair share in helping preserve the environment.

According to reports, the princess has recently opened up about just how seriously she takes her advocacy, and the things she had revealed really reflected how dedicated she is to help save the planet. Apparently, Princess Eugenie has been having some major changes in her life for the past year, and more evident adjustments ever since she got married to her long-time partner Jack Brooksbank in October 2018.

The 28-year-old royal has proudly spoken up about how her household has been completely plastic-free for the past year. It appears that the newlyweds had substituted all plastic items in their household, for biodegradable and reusable ones.

It was also an act of outmost dedication to the whole platform when, days prior to their wedding, Princess Eugenie had released a statement about a new rule she was enforcing during her wedding day. Alongside the dozens of archaic traditions of royal weddings, the princess added her own new personal touch to the wedding. She had banned any use of plastic materials during the event.

Clearly, this princess takes all matters of sustainability seriously. She was also recently named the ambassador of Project Zero. This non-profit organization aims to protect and restore the ocean. It is also serves as an environmental charity for the preservation and protection of marine life.

The royal also took to her Instagram account to share a post for awareness of a movement called "Plastic Free July." She captioned the picture with a short message of how she and her team at Project Zero have been working in order to raise awareness of the negative consequences of the widespread utilization of single-use plastic.

The princess also added that she was fully committed to stop using these single-use plastics in order to help prevent non-biodegradable waste from poisoning the oceans and endangering marine life. She ends her post with encouraging the common folk to do their part by doing the self-same thing.

It seems as though the princess and her husband are well following in the footsteps of another royal couple who are also committed environment advocates. Royal insiders were quick to point out the likeness between the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and Princess Eugenie and her husband. Just like Princess Eugenie, Meghan Markle has a strong stand and commendable dedication for her efforts in saving our planet.
