Rigby & Peller, an undergarment company, once became the favorite luxury lingerie brand of Queen Elizabeth. The supplier sold lingerie to members of the royal company, including Princess Diana and Princess Margaret. It was also revealed that the brand is the favorite of many Hollywood celebrities, including Kim Kardashian.
Rigby & Peller is Her Majesty's choice for 50 years. The supplier was given a British royal warrant to supply to the royal family. The brand is preferred by the queen and the other female family members.
The company lost its rights to supply for the royal company after it revealed the bra-fitting details of the Queen. A documentary released on Channel 5 this year said that the Queen ended the royal family's ties to the supplier after its owner, June Keaton, released a book entitled "Storm In A D-Cup."
Keaton personally fitted the Queens Bras, and the Royal family was shocked when she revealed the sizes and the other private details of the Queen's undergarments. The documentary quoted Paul Burrell, Princess Diana's former butler when he said that Keaton comes to Buckingham Palace to take the Queen's measurements. Burrell told the Express that even royals change shape over time, so their undergarments measurements change shape as well, adding that someone comes from Rigby & Peller and measures Her Majesty's requirements to make the most excellent undergarments.
It was also revealed that there are other reasons why Ms. Keaton lost her company's royal warrant aside from her revelation of the Queen's measurements. Mr. Burrell said that the Palace ended the warrant when she publicized how she visits the Queen to measure her body and when she shared the rumors that her warrant will be stripped off because of her book.
Companies are given official warrant to be an official supplier and provider of services to the members of the royal family. The warrants can be given by Queen Elizabeth, Prince Philip, and Prince Charles.
Rigby & Peller continued growing despite the scandal. The company opened nine shops around London. The company lost the warrant for the royals, but a window to Hollywood opened. The company now serves many celebrities, including Kim Kardashian and Gwyneth Paltrow. The products of the company sell for £50 to £200. Rigby and Peller remain as a famous luxury brand that sells the highest quality lingerie brands. The company continued to advertise on its website that it sells undergarments for the Royals.
