Earlier this week, Taylor Swift has become the face of many tabloids and headlines once again. But instead of celebrating her recent works like Lover and You Need To Calm Down, the reports are all about her recent dispute with Scooter Braun.
Taylor's disputes with other personalities from the music industry are no longer a shocking and surprising event. Most people nowadays believe that her career is largely built on disputes and conflicts with other artists. And while the hopes of becoming the "victim" to all of these disputes are primarily initiated, the fans are looking things the other way every time the other party responds to her claims.
This case is pretty similar to Taylor Swift's current conflict with Scooter Braun. As it appears, many people are now backing up Scooter after he made a response to Taylor's "open letter."
On Sunday, Taylor published a blog post on her Tumblr account. In it, she emphasized how Scooter is a genuine bully ever since. But the main thing that dismays and disappoints her is the fact that the rights to her master albums are now held by Scooter Braun after Scott Borchetta's Big Machine Records was sold to Ithaca Holdings.
According to News Corp Australia, Taylor Swift is disappointed not because she lost her six albums, but it is because she lost it to Scooter Braun. This is because Taylor has revealed that he is a "bully." Also, it is worth noting that Scooter is Kanye West's manager during the time that she had disputes with Kanye and Kim. So, it is only logical as to why she feels upset losing all her work to him.
Right after her published blog went viral, the fandom immediately picked up where she is coming from. Hence, the support overflowed towards her. Several celebrities even shared their opinions and support. And as per Taylor, she was not given a chance to purchase the masters of her first six albums.
But things got even more complicated and questionable when Scott Borchetta and Scooter Braun responded to her claims. According to Hollywood Life, the two have shared their sides and revealed that they have reached out to Taylor before the business deal moves forward.
Taylor Swift denies these claims. But the fandom is now inclining toward Scooter Braun's team as many reports suggest that Taylor is just playing the "victim card" the way she always does. Not to mention, several artists like Justin Bieber, Demi Lovato, and Sia largely showed their support for Scooter.
