It looks like there will be a recoupling happening in Love Island Season 5 with Amber and Michael. After Michael left Amber and Joanna chose him, the latter seems to be thinking that there will be reconciliation between the two.
Michael left Amber because of his childish ways, but he was seen flirting with her again. Unfortunately, Joanna heard him while he was teasing her that led her to think about the ex-couple's possible reunion.
When Michael and Joanna talked, he tried to ease her mind and assured her that he no longer had feelings for Amber. But, it didn't change Joanna's mind.
In Love Island Season 5, Michael's actions were speaking louder than words. Add to that Amber admitting she is still open for reconciliation, and then Joanna now doubts Michael's real intention.
Joanna was not the only one who noticed that Michael might still have feelings for Amber. Other Islanders also believed that Michael still wanted Amber to be with him.
Now that Michael and Joanna had put their differences aside, it was not far for the two to be reunited. She also wanted to make things clear and know where she stands in his life in Love Island Season 5.
Hence, Joanna wanted Michael and Amber to seriously talk things out and determine, once and for all, whether they still have feelings for each other or not. Molly-Mae already told Joanna about Michael and Amber's discussion the day before, which might not be in her favor.
From the looks of it, Michael has yet to draw a line underneath his relationship with Amber. So, Joanna wanted to know the truth between them in Love Island Season 5.
When they finally spoke, Metro News reported Joanna asked Michael if he still had feelings for Amber. "No, not like that," he said in response.
However, he admitted he still likes her as a friend because he doesn't want to see her hurt. He even explained that he doesn't even talk to Amber anymore and only ask her if she is alright whenever he walks past her.
Amber, on the other hand, talked to the girls on the swing seat and revealed she felt like Michael didn't make it clear that he is now eyeing Joanna over her. Michael believed there was a misunderstanding, and Amber seemed to have misinterpreted their talk.
So to solve the issue and get to the bottom of it all, Joanna called them both for a chat the following morning. So, would there be reconciliation between Amber and Michael or the latter would stay with Joanna in Love Island Season 5?
