Over a year ago, a shocking rumor about the state of Steve Harvey's marriage circulated. Some gossip tabloids had been running stories about how his wife, Marjorie Harvey, had walked out on him and fought endlessly with him.
There were even allegations that Marjorie had filed a divorce against Steve. It also came out that they were in a vicious custody battle that has caused the divorce to drag on and cost Steve around $400 million.
The questionable sources claim that Steve's marriage is in serious jeopardy because of his closeness to Kris Jenner. Marjorie had had enough of the constant calls and texts her husband, and the Kardashian "momager" were exchanging.
These calls and texts were persistent and stretched out too late in the evening. She was beginning to doubt whether the topic of their conversations had turned from business to pleasure. Marjorie was said to have walked out on him and was already pondering on filing a divorce against Steve if he did not cut contact with Jenner.
However, all this information posted by gossip tabloids a year ago has no evidence and absolutely no truth to their words. It was revealed that, although Jenner was a close friend to the Harvey couple, most especially to Marjorie, Jenner had never violated Harvey's marriage.
Jenner had reportedly always remained proper on the rare occasion she reached out to contact either Steve or Marjorie. It is evident that the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star had never crossed any lines with Steve and has never angered Marjorie in that way.
Moreover, it has been well over a year and a half. However, the Harveys have not so much as breathed a word about a divorce or shown any signs of marital discord between them, as opposed to the buzzing gossip about them splitting up.
On the other hand, the couple is still really happy and very much in love. And recently, after Steve's taping of the final episode of Family Feud, the host took to his Instagram account to announce how excited he was for an upcoming trip with "the baddest chick in the world," pertaining to his wife, Marjorie.
The couple also celebrated their 12th wedding anniversary earlier on in this year. Steve once again took to Instagram and posted a sweet picture, captioning it by greeting a happy anniversary to the chick of his dreams. Marjorie had also uploaded a photo on her Instagram of her and Steve posing in front of a private jet before heading to their anniversary trip.
One thing's for sure: it will take more than a bunch of misguided articles and circulated rumors to break this power couple apart.
