The much-awaited launch of the Season 2 of "Apex Legends" featured a lot of changes and content in the fan-favorite battle royale video game. However, the team behind the popular title failed to address one of the most crucial parts of the game-hacking and cheating. If you want to get rid of the cheaters during the ranked play, here are some useful tips and tricks.
Cheaters and hackers are almost everywhere. When the second season of "Apex Legends" was introduced, it featured the Ranked Leagues mode. Many players believe that it is one of the many reasons, which gave rise to the numerous players who love to cheat their way to get into higher ranked divisions. These cheaters have become so toxic that one player claimed one of the servers in their region became unplayable because of cheaters.
In the EU, according to one player, the majority of the game he played is full of cheaters, and it has become pointless to play the Platinum Division right now in their region. Reddit user Pjeh is among the many "Apex Legends" players who would like to remove cheaters during the game's rank play. To help other players, the Reddit user shared some useful tips to game developer Respawn Entertainment on how it could solve this critical issue.
According to Pjeh, Respawn can utilize phone authentication in ranked play for higher leagues. This would restrict those who utilize alternative accounts to hack their way and rank. The Reddit user also suggested that the game developer use the max level to play the Ranked League mode of "Apex Legends." The redditor said that while the minimum level to be able to play at the ranked league is set at 10, the game developer can increase it to 100.
This way, everyone who can access the ranked league definitely has played the game a lot in order to earn it. The Reddit user also suggested that Respawn hires a team to focus on cheaters. Although he acknowledges the use of anti-cheat programs, he said it is more effective if at least 5 to 10 people are proactively looking for hackers and cheaters.

The suggestions from the Reddit user are indications of how toxic the Ranked League mode has become. Players are getting impatient on how the game developer responds to this kind of issue, so they do something to get its attention or suggest something just to make sure that the team behind "Apex Legends" is really at work finding a solution.
