"Mortal Kombat 11" is still very fresh but players and fans are starting to wonder what the post-release downloadable content of the game would look like. Most of us know what the upcoming Ultra Pack 1 will hold with several speculations of several other things that we still don't know. Game Producer and Creator Director Ed Boon already teased about Sindel the Queen coming to the game but just recently, he revealed the image of Nightwolf that will also be included as one of the six DLC characters coming in Ultra Pack 1.
Confirmed DLC Fighter
On his official Twitter account, Ed Boon teased the "Mortal Kombat 11" fans and players once again of a cryptic post asking who sent the Wolf with an image of what appears to be an Indian man. There is no denying that the game producer just gave the world the first look of the much-awaited DLC character Nightwolf. So far, it is the clearest image of the classic Mortal Kombat fighter since the character was revealed several weeks earlier.
The fans are now wondering about the order of release of the DLC characters. Shang Tsung was already confirmed to be the first fighter to arrive in "Mortal Kombat 11." NetherRealm Studios even released his gameplay trailer already. But, with Sindel the Queen released a few days ago, there is now a confusion whether the Queen will come next or the Shaman will follow Shang Tsung.
Who is Nightwolf?
Nightwolf was first introduced in "Mortal Kombat 3" in 1995. His biggest appearance was in 2015 with "Mortal Kombat X" but he was not one of the fighters but an NPC. NetherRealm Studios and even Ed Boon are still tight-lipped as to what the fans can expect from the DLC characters of "Mortal Kombat 11" leaving many to wonder about his moves and abilities.

For those who are still unfamiliar with Nightwolf, he is a Matoka warrior who is both a historian and a powerful shaman. He is a committed and proud warrior who wants to protect good cause and communicated to Raiden through visions. He draws internal and external energy to improve his power.
In previous installments, Nightwolf can manifest bows and arrows from spirit energy and use tomahawks. He can power up his tomahawks with an otherworldly green flame. One of his fatalities is channeling lightning into his tomahawk. In "Mortal Kombat 2011" daggers of spirit energy were added to his weapons for kombos and throws.
Nightwolf has the power to purify a being of their sins, which fits his character well. He is close to wolves and can talk to them. In "Mortal Kombat Annihilation" he can shapeshift to a wolf. Fans are hoping to see the same powers and abilities in "Mortal Kombat 11."
