The long wait is over as Suits Season 9 is finally arriving on USA Network. And having only a total of 10 episodes, which is much fewer than the previous installments, the imminent end for the series is about to begin.
Just a few days before the final season's premiere, the network has released an official teaser for the first episode. And based on the short clip, it seemingly appears that Harvey and Samantha will try to save Robert Zane's legacy by keeping his name on the wall.
As any fan would recall, the last few moments of Suits Season 8 has brought the fans into shock as Robert Zane took the fall for Harvey. Although the fault is on Donna, Robert realized that taking the fall would be his only way to reclaim himself from all the things he had done from the past.
In the end, this decision got him disbarred sending him into an early retirement. Of course, the majority's first course of action would be the elimination of his name on the wall. But for Harvey and Samantha, who largely know that Robert is innocent, they cannot and would not do this to him, especially the latter.
In the first episode's preview as per Cartermatt, Harvey and Samantha are in the talks of what to do next as the firm is on the brink of falling. With their clients shifting from their firm to another after what happened, they are now looking for solutions to ultimately prevent the possible unfortunate outcome.
But as they try to analyze one thing from another, they have come to conclude that Eric Kaldore is rallying against them. And an apparent "blackmail" is what he is after to kick Harvey and Zane from the game. Hence, they've decided to "pay him a visit."
Suits Season 9 Episode 1 titled, Everything's Changed, will definitely show how Harvey and Samantha would try to keep Robert's name on the wall. But things might turn out the other way around as Alex and Louis may have a different perspective about the matter. As it appears, there are possible conflicts in keeping Zane's name.
On another note, there are no confirmed news yet if Mike would already return on the last first episode of the show. Even so, his comeback is already hinted by Meaww that it will be a result of a conflict. And his arrival would help "his friend."
Suits Season 9 Episode 1 is set to air on July 17, on USA Network.
