The Bachelorette Hannah Brown is not backing down, and now, a twitter war with former cast member Luke P. over the "sex in the windmill" incident on the show is on. While the Fantasy Suites episode showed a far from the ideal exit for the born again Christian, it seems that the feud is far from over as he took to social media to maintain his position on sex before marriage.
During the Fantasy Suites episode of the show, Hannah shared her strong attraction to Luke at first sight but balked at his idea of an ideal relationship, especially when he judged her for having sex with one of the contestants in a windmill, one of the most shocking reveals in this season of The Bachelorette.
Hannah called out Luke for dismissing sex before marriage as a sin and countered that pride was also a sin. In her final resolution, she told Luke that she does not want him to be her husband. Adding insult to injury, Luke even asked if he could pray for Hannah, which had The Bachelorette flipping him off before sending him packing.
In the latest Twitter war, Luke said: "The difference in how we view sin is seen in the response. I'm weeping at mine, and you're laughing at yours. All sin stings. My heart hurts for both of us."
Hannah was not one to take things lying down and replied to Luke's tweet. The Bachelorette replied in a scathing post: "I have never said that I find my sin funny. I'm not going to [be] lectured on appropriate emotional responses by a guy who threw deli meat in a guy's lap,"
But it seemed that the exchange was only the beginning because Luke crossed platforms and turned to Instagram to say that he did not intend to judge or condemn Hannah, reported Fox.
He also took the platform to use a hashtag #faithfuloverfamous to express how he wanted to represent his faith in the show. He also thanked the fans who have remained supportive of him amid the onslaught of criticisms, but some observed that his words seemed to take on an air of condemnation contrary to the message he was supposedly conveying.
The Fantasy Suites episode of The Bachelorette finally answered the question of whom Hannah had sex with in the windmill and much to fans' surprise, it was not Jed Wyatt but actually, Peter Webber, the pilot.
It comes as no surprise that Hannah would take Luke's condemnation of her choice to have sex with one of the contestants because she specifically explained how strongly she felt about intimacy on the show, Bustle reported.
"I don't have any expectations, but intimacy is important to me, and I hold dear to my heart. It's important for me to have these moments where my body is your body, my heart is your heart, my soul - we are completely entangled in every single way. That's what I know I want for my future," she said.
