Although countless gossip tabloids are proclaiming that Tom Cruise is looking to date the sultry and newly single Dakota Johnson, more reliable sources have revealed that these rumors are all false. The Edge Of Tomorrow actor does not want to date the 29-year-old actress but does admittedly find her very attractive.
Following a report from earlier this month about how the Fifty Shades of Grey actress had split up with Coldplay's lead singer, Chris Martin, rumors have been circulating about Cruise trying to orchestrate a time and place where he would bump into Johnson.
However, the breakup rumors have been confirmed by neither the singer nor the actress, but they have not been spotted together in public for months. And according to some questionable sources, Cruise has been crushing on Johnson for some time and might use her vulnerability from the recent unconfirmed break up to try and get her into seeking comfort in his arms.
The phony source also reported that, ever since Cruise had watched the film adaptations of the romance and erotica trilogy, he had started falling head over heels for the lead actress of the movies.
The source also added that he had watched the films back-to-back repeatedly because of her. He is allegedly plotting a way to ask her out. He supposedly believes that Johnson would be more inclined to say yes to him if he went with a bold and upfront approach when he asks her to go on a date with him.
The untrue reports get even creepier. According to the questionable source, Cruise is pressuring his team to reach out to Johnson's assistant to find out her schedule. Cruise also allegedly wants to know about every event Dakota is attending, in what city and at what time. This is all so he can just pop into the event, walk up to her and buy her a drink and straight up ask her out on a date, with no messing around.
The reports also claim that Johnson is the kind of woman who is hard to get and needs to be completely "wooed" before she would be convinced to go out with the guy. And this has supposedly made Cruise more determined to have some impressive jokes and deadpan-wit conversation-starters right up his sleeve for when he makes the moves on her.
However, some reporters recently reached out to Cruise's and Johnson's teams to do some fact-checking and confirm if these allegations were true. Their spokespersons refused to give an official statement but did stress that all these reports were fabricated and untrue.
