It is not surprising at all as to why Prince Harry and Meghan Markle would want to protect baby Archie's privacy. Just like any parent today, that's one of the first things they would do for their kids. And so much more for parents who are almost always in the spotlight.
Being royalty entails a lot of scrutinization from the public. But Prince Harry's "desire" to protect his young family has a much more heartbreaking reason.
According to Cheat Sheet, this started even before Meghan's and Archie's arrival. Per reports, it has been stated that this apparently "originated" from his childhood years due to the experiences that he had from being a royal.
In a 2013 documentary series, The Royals, the editor-in-chief of Majesty Magazine, Ingrid Seward, revealed that Prince Harry and Prince William grew to hate the photographers who are always around Princess Diana. And with that aspect causing the death of Princess Diana, it had taken a huge toll on the two princes.
Quite obviously, the princes were able to handle the press and media after the accident. But even so, they still "loathe" them and blame the press for Princess Diana's passing.
Reports have also uncovered that Prince Harry stayed in the army for years just to stay out from the media and press. In addition, he loved the idea of being "just Harry" during his service. And this only goes to show how much he values his privacy and wants to stay out of the spotlight.
Given this kind of unfortunate events, it is only suitable as to why Prince Harry grew to want so much privacy for his family. And based on what is currently happening, it seemingly appears that he is succeeding in providing enough privacy for Duchess Meghan and their baby, Archie.
Recently, they held a private christening for Archie. And there were no publicity materials about the event. Even so, they have released a statement informing the public that they will release photos in the coming weeks.
It is also worth noting that the Sussex family has already moved into the Frogmore Cottage. And as per E!, the recent move that they did is to strengthen the privacy that they need.
As it happens, it has been revealed that the family wants to stay out of the spotlight. And privacy is the main reason why they decided to move out of Kensington Palace.
