Michael and Francesca have left the villa in the recent episode of Love Island Season 5. As Michael recently made noise by trying to winning back Amber again after Joanna's exit, it's a mystery what would happen in Episode 49 after his departure.
Michael and Francesca, Chris and Harley, and Anna and Jordan received the lowest votes from the public. As the rest of the Islanders decided for their fate, they voted for Anna and Jordan, while Ovie and India settled for Chris and Harley. Hence, Michael and Francesca had to go after getting no votes.
On their final speech, Francesca said her time on Love Island was amazing, the best experience, and the time she had learn so much about herself. "It was a massive life lesson for me," she added, via RTE.
Michael, on the other hand, said his time in the villa was the "most amazing experience" of his life. He had made friends who now he considered as his family.
They were the most relaxed people he had to get along with, although also the toughest. Talking about Amber, Michael said the highlight of his stay was making a friend in Amber and meeting Joanna.
Meanwhile, a former ITV2 employee claimed Love Island bosses "fix the show based on who they wanted to win." In a Reddit Q&A, the source was confirmed by the site's moderators to be the series' former producer.
In a resurfaced talk, via The Sun, it said the show bosses "pulled all of the string inside the villa." The employees even called Love Island as the most constructed reality program at its finest.
The producers also allegedly incorporate shocking twists and arranging dumpings that would benefit their favorite couples. They were also the ones who decided who would make the best on TV and who would be the most frustrating to with, among others. And, it was not only one person who did the decision making.
The claims came after Love Island once again faced backlash when it dumped Joanna. Fans accused the show's bosses of fixing the dumping to get rid of her so that Michael could woo his former flame, Amber, again.
Some fans questioned if the show was scripted. The source said there were a lot of times when producers asked the Islanders to have a specific conversation to give viewers "a better experience." Love Island Episode 49 is going to be out on Monday, July 22, on ITV2.
