It looks like CBS isn't wasting any time in getting things started for NCIS: New Orleans Season 6. The cast and crew of the police drama have reunited as production has already began. But what can fans look forward to in the sixth season? It looks like Hannah Khoury will be more involved with special cases later this year.
Hannah Khoury certainly took charge in the fifth season when she took over as Special Agent In Charge of the New Orleans office, serving as Dwayne Pride's replacement. However, that didn't mean that Hannah was trying to steal Pride's job. She actually led the team to try and save Pride when he was captured by the Apollyon leader in the Season 5 finale 'The River Styx, Part II'. But with Pride's return to the office, could this mean that Hannah will no longer be a part of the team?
Pride might be back but that doesn't mean Hannah is leaving. Necar Zadegan has just confirmed that she will still be a huge part of NCIS: New Orleans Season 6. The actress shared a new photo on her official Instagram account revealing that the sixth season has started production. Zadegan is shown wearing the show's trademark NCIS vest and she even added the awesome hashtag #nolaorbust.
So what can fans expect in NCIS: New Orleans Season 6? The premise of the upcoming season is still very much a mystery. However, some believe that Pride might be dealing with some personal issues after what happened in the fifth season finale. After all, he saw some truly powerful hallucinations in 'The River Styx, Part II', most of which were heightened by the constant return of the Angel of Death.
There is a possibility that Pride will need to take some time off to heal after the torture he went through in the fifth season. Although his wounds might heal, fans are also concerned about Pride's mental state considering that he was beaten and drugged within an inch of his life. Hopefully, it won't affect Pride too much so he can still serve as an effective leader to the team.

NCIS: New Orleans Season 6 is currently in production. The series will then return on CBS in September.
