The Bachelorette Hannah Brown already sent home Luke P. last week during the Fantasy Suite episode over the sex in the windmill issue, but viewers find themselves glued to their TV screens two weeks after, still stuck on the drama that only Luke's presence can provide.
True to the teaser for this week's episode, viewers have not seen the end of Luke P. after last week's confrontation with Hannah. Without the other Bachelorette hopefuls knowing it, Luke attends the rose ceremony even though he has been kicked out of the show already, ET reported.
Hannah gets the surprise of her life to see Luke standing with Peter Weber, Tyler Cameron, and Jed Wyatt before the podium. As he crashes the rose ceremony, Hannah goes ballistic over his insistence that he was still part of the show and that he will not leave without closure.
Hannah moves the podium to make her statement after some choice words to Luke, and the guys step in to boot him out of the show. As a physical altercation looms, Chris Harrison steps in to intervene. After asking Hannah if she still wants him out even if he has a ring in his pocket and is ready to propose then and there, she maintains her position until Luke is finally escorted out.
However, Luke P. was not done with the show after all as he took the spotlight in the Men Tell All segment of the show where The Bachelorette hopefuls returned to share their experience on the show.
After watching the clip of the rose ceremony, Luke comes in to clarify his side of the story. He explained that his actions during the Fantasy Suite episode were because he got blindsided, not because he was judging Hannah for having sex with anyone on the show.
"I'm sorry, I'm getting choked up over here just thinking about. It was frustrating, being misunderstood. She thought I was judging her. Yeah, I was shocked. Shock was the first emotion. I was very confused," he further clarified, adding that the act of intimacy was not his issue, but rather, he thought that Hannah was making a mistake.
As a testament to his lack of popularity, other Bachelorette hopefuls also took Hannah's side on the matter as opposed to Luke. The guys said that Luke needs to update his antiquated beliefs about the female's role in the relationship and called him out for his attitude to Hannah. Fan-favorite Mike even went so far as to say that if he didn't change his controlling ways, his future wife might feel like she's a prisoner in their relationship.
Hannah also had her say on the issue when she was brought back to face the eliminated contenders.
"I'm so over being slut-shamed! I'm also not going to say that me having sex in a windmill was like the scarlet letter on my chest to have... you're not going to make me feel that way!" she told Luke.
