Is the long-distance relationship taking its toll on A-list couple Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx? Rumors have been circulating that Katie is constantly stressed out by reports that her boyfriend has been spotted flirting with other women during a game of beach volleyball at Leonardo DiCaprio's Malibu beach house.
According to a magazine report which cites a source, Katie is getting tired of Jamie Foxx's partying ways, and it should come as no surprise that the couple will drift apart because of this. However, Gossip Cop has debunked the rumor after interviewing Katie Holmes' rep.
According to Holmes' camp, there is no such issue affecting the long-distance couple who is now based in California and New York. Katie's rep said that Jamie is very conscious about his conduct since he knows that he is likely to be photographed and that rumors could spread from these stolen shots.
The rep further assured that the couple are in a mature relationship and that they completely focus on each other when they're together and respectful of their relationship when they are apart. The source further assured that the photos of Foxx attending DiCaprio's party is not something that upsets Katie.
It can be recalled that just last May, the very private couple made their first public appearance at the Met Gala. It was the first time that Jamie Foxx attended the event and was made even more significant by the fact that they openly showed affection in public, as opposed to the rare paparazzi shot of the couple showing any public displays of affection.
Break up rumors have constantly been plaguing Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx for months but friends and family who are close to the pair only shrug at the reports. Foxx's daughter Corrine said that she supports the relationship because Katie and her dad are great together, Marie Claire reported.
"They are so great, and Katie is always so chic. They were wonderful. [It was] my dad's first Met Gala. They're really good, really great," Corrine said about Holmes and Foxx.
Katie and Jamie, who first started their relationship in 2013, a year after Katie's split from Tom Cruise, have maintained their privacy for the better part of their dating life. The two are currently based in different states - California and New York and are making things work with a long-distance relationship. Page Six recently reported that Jamie was overheard saying that his relationship with Katie was going swimmingly.
