The first season of Beecham House recently concluded on ITV, so many viewers are now wondering if the show will be coming back for another season. Right now, there were no confirmed details about Beecham House season 2, but here's everything we know so far including the possible release date, renewal status, cast, and other details.

ITV has yet to confirm the renewal status of Beecham House season 2, but the events in the final episode of the first season hint a possible come back. The closing minutes featured kidnapping of August and questions regarding his whereabouts and what can be done just to bring him back. That's already a huge cliffhanger, so the renewal of the second season is very likely.

According to series creator Gurinder Chadha, the renewal of the second season depends on the audience, while lead star Tom Bateman (plays John Beecham) said there's no shortage of stories and described it as a "big, rich, old pie." Pallavi Sharda (plays Chandrika), on the other hand, revealed there have been talks about season 2, though she isn't sure at this point what's happening.

Since the renewal of Beecham House season 2 is still up in the air, the release date remains unknown as well. The first season premiered on June 2019, so if ever it will be renewed, fans can expect its arrival in summer 2020. The first installment consists of six episodes, so the season 2 would probably have the same number of episodes as well.

The summer release of the second season is also a good spot for the series, but not on the final two weeks as Poldark season 5 would be airing around that same time as well. Airing a period drama to another opposite period drama isn't a good move and would possibly affect the ratings.

Aside from Bateman and Sharda, other cast members that will come back on the second installment include Lesley Nicol (as Henriette Beecham), Dakota Blue Richards (Margaret Osborne), Grégory Fitoussi (General Castillon), Kulvinder Ghir (Mool Chand), Adil Ray (Murad Beg), Leo Suter (Daniel Beecham), and Bessie Carter (Violet Woodhouse).

As for the plot of Beecham House season 2, it will likely delve deeper into the backgrounds of other characters, as well on the secrets and loves of John. Furthermore, it would probably focus more on his past, but beyond that, the second installment might see several characters entering the fray as the East India Company will continue dominating the nation and grab more power.
