Despite the happy Candy Land-themed party of North West and Penelope Disick last month, their mothers, Kim and Kourtney Kardashian, had a brawl about it behind-the-scenes. In the new Keeping Up with the Kardashians Season 17 promo, the two sisters had a major fight before they managed to craft out the perfect birthday party for their kids.

Kourtney has been known for her organic and healthy diet. So as Penelope and North's birthday would bear a Candy Land-themed, she wanted the sweet treats to be healthy, too, which Kim opposed.

Everything began when Kim and Khloe arrived at Kourtney's house, seeing a jar full of candy. They even joked that they should call the police after seeing processed sweets on her table, which Kourtney said the "only hidden stash of candy" she had.

Kourtney then went to ask her sisters if they didn't feel like the candy sucked the "life and youthfulness" of their skin." "No, it makes me feel like a kid inside," Kim said.

Later, they started to discuss their plans for their daughters' joint party. Kourtney said she wanted to serve candies that were not "disgusting and filled with chemicals," to which Kim dared her to show her some.

From here, Kim and Kourtney's serious argument started. Kourtney went on to say they could still play the party's theme without having unhealthy treats. As Kim knew where her talk would be going, she cut her off.

"It's Candy Land," Kim insisted. Kourtney then argued that there were candies that were not full of chemicals. Kanye West's wife reiterated the party's theme and would be all about sweets and not a "Gluten-Free Land" concept.

As no one wanted to give way for each other, Kourtney then suggested that they should throw separate birthday parties instead. "Perfect ... That's exactly what we'll do," Kim responded.

Anyhow, People noted Kim and Kourtney still ended up throwing a Candy Land-themed party together. It was held at Korutney's house last month.

North and Penelope enjoyed the event while indulging themselves in the sweet treats. In a post on Kourtney's lifestyle website, Poosh, it detailed the event was held at her backyard. It was designed with a huge rainbow pathway that led the kids to a Candy Castle, a life-size gingerbread house filled with candy from Sugar Factory.

From the looks of it, Kim won and managed to convince Kourtney to let their kids enjoy real sweet treats. This scene might be seen in Keeping Up with the Kardashians Season 17, which is due for release in September on E! Network.
