A collaboration between Ariana Grande and Taylor Swift is actually quite feasible since both artists are signed under Republic Records. It is also a trend for music superstars to work together on new music. However, the challenge for the partnership comes not between Ariana and Taylor but rather Swift's ongoing conflict with Ari's manager Scooter Braun.

It is public knowledge that Taylor Swift and Scooter Braun, who manage not only Ariana Grande, but also big names like Demi Lovato and Justin Bieber, are currently embroiled in a feud after Braun, who founded School Boy Records bought Swift's former record label Big Machine Records, along with the rights to all her previous albums and masters.

Taylor Swift publicly decried Braun's purchase of the label and said that she was not given a proper chance to own her music by Big Machine Records former CEO Scott Borchetta and slammed his ultimate decision to sell his label to her arch-nemesis, Scooter Braun.

"When I left my masters in Scott's hands, I made peace with the fact that eventually he would sell them. Never in my worst nightmares did I imagine the buyer would be Scooter. He knew what he was doing; they both did. Controlling a woman who didn't want to be associated with them. In perpetuity. That means forever," she lamented.

Taylor accused Ariana Grande's manager of bullying her for the longest time along with Kanye West and Kim Kardashian. Several other celebrities also became embroiled with the issue as Cara Delevigne and Halsey sharing their support for Taylor, and Katharine Mcphee and Justin Bieber taking Braun's side, The Cut reported.
