Despite rumors that Bradley Cooper is ready to go public with his romance with A Star is Born co-star Lady Gaga, there is still no confirmation from either artist that their relationship goes beyond the professional.
A post by Gossip Cop debunked reports from OK! Australia that Bradley Cooper is convincing Lady Gaga to announce their relationship because he thinks that enough time has passed after his breakup with long-time girlfriend Irina Shayk to declare his new relationship status.
The entertainment blog debunked the rumors and called out the source that reported that Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga were already ready to move in together in Los Angeles and are just waiting for the right time to go public with the romance.
It can be recalled that rumors of a romance were fueled by the A Star is Born co-stars' steamy performance of Shallow at the Oscar Awards. Lady Gaga also reportedly broke off her engagement with fiancé Christian Carino just before the awards night.
Further fanning the flames of the rumor mill is Bradley's recent announcement of his split with model Irina Shayk, with whom he has one daughter. Bradley and Irina have been dating for four years before the breakup.
With Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper's strong on-screen chemistry and their close friendship, rumors have been rife that their working relationship has evolved into a romance, which caused their respective splits from their partners.
While steering clear of explaining the motivations behind her broken engagement, the Paparazzi singer said that her performance with Cooper at the Oscars was nothing more than good acting.
"["Shallow"] is a love song, A Star Is Born is a love story. It was so important to both of us that we were connected the entire time...When you're singing love songs, that's what you want people to feel. I'm an artist and I guess [Bradley and I] did a good job...fooled ya!" she said.
For Bradley's part, he has denied rumors linking him to his former co-star and said that after the breakup, his focus is his daughter. A source close to Bradley and Irina said that the couple is both busy with their careers and understand the importance of having both parents in their daughter's life. Both Bradley and Irina have reportedly committed to co-parenting their child and have put their love lives on hold while they sort things out, ET reported.
