Manchester United and Tottenham are both pushing to get the signature of Paulo Dybala from Juventus this summer, with the forward being considered as one of the best in Serie A. Last season, the Argentinian struggled following Cristiano Ronaldo's arrival from Real Madrid.

New reports claim that Tottenham launched a bid to sign Dybala from Juve last week despite the uncertainty over the future of Christian Eriksen. United are also keen on signing the star following reports of Romelu Lukaku's departure. Lukaku is both wanted by Juve and Inter Milan.

Juventus is willing to sign the Belgium international and are reportedly willing to include Dybala as part of the deal. But according to a report from La Gazzetta Sport, Dybala wants a huge sum if he is to depart the Serie A giants.

Dybala reportedly demands a salary between £8million and £9m a year should he quit the Allianz Stadium. We're yet to find out whether or not the Premier League giants agree to his demands.

Word is that Man Utd has the upper hand to signing Dybala, but on one condition, at least according to football consultant Ian McGarry.

McGarry claims that Tottenham are miles apart in negotiations for the Juventus star after producing a "low-ball figure." This summer, Dybala is set to leave Juventus despite reports suggesting that he wants to stay and fight for his place at Juventus rather than complete a summer move to Manchester United.

Manchester United are still looking at other deals following a season in which the team finished sixth in the Premier League, 32 points behind champions Manchester City.

The Argentina international has been rumored to sign with United, who could prise him away from Italy in a swap deal involving Paul Pogba. But Spurs are also said to compete for his signature. But McGarry says that Man Utd are about to win Dybala's signature while preparing for Lukaku's departure.

"The Spurs offer is kind of a classic Daniel Levy tactic," McGarry said on Reach Plc's Transfer Window podcast. "It's a low-ball figure. They've been told by the player's agent that he is very interested in coming to England and the offer was €45m [£40m], which comes out at around £41.2m."

French World Cup winner Pogba has his heart set on a move to Real Madrid, while Lukaku has been strongly linked with a switch to Italy.
