Read at your own risk: This article contains spoilers for The Blacklist Season 7.
In less than three months, The Blacklist Season 7 will finally arrive. And while the series may seem to be impossible to stretch out, there are more stories to tell in its course as per its creator.
When the latest season ended its course last May, almost everyone thought that the series is about to end on the seventh run. And with all the truths that are coming into the light concerning Reddington's true identity, it somehow made sense if the show will end soon.
However, things have become so much more interesting during the finale. And much more when its creator, Jon Bokencamp, revealed that they have already thought "beyond" The Blacklist Season 7. In short, the possibilities of having additional installments after the seventh are very high.
In an interview with TV Line, Jon Bokemcamp and John Eisendrath answered several raw questions about the show's plot and future. And based on the statements, it seemingly appears that they are looking forward to having new seasons after the incoming installment.
They also mentioned that Katarina Rostova's storyline had been long "hinted" in the previous seasons. And since the revelation about her of being alive was just recently uncovered, it only makes sense that her entrance gave new possibilities and opportunities for the show's course.
Aside from The Blacklist's future on television, the series creators also talked about the apparent and ongoing theories regarding the show. Although Jon Bokemcamp did not specifically go into the details, John Eisendrath shared his thoughts that Reddington is not Katarina Rostova as what most fans have theorized about his identity.
It is pretty logical as well considering that the finale of the sixth season showed how Katarina captured Reddington. But of course, these are mere theories and speculations. Besides, the series creators would not entirely disclose such essential details about the show.
For The Blacklist Season 7, the plot will most likely pick up where it last left off. This means that the Task Force will surely go after Katarina for Reddington's abduction.
So far, these are the only details that have been disclosed about series. But since The Blacklist Season 7 is set to premiere on October 4, on NBC, it is expected that much newer details and updates about the hit series will soon arrive.
As for its arrival on Netflix, there are no words yet about the matter. But surely, it will premiere on the platform after its actual arrival on the network.
