Jennifer Lopez is definitely in the running towards becoming the best fiancé, and Alex Rodriguez might be the luckiest man on the planet. For her fiancé's 44th birthday celebration, J-Lo did a lot of sweet gestures and surprises alongside their blended family.
First off, J-Lo had interrupted ESPN's Sunday Night Baseball to surprise her man on the set. The 50-year-old singer had successfully pulled off one of the most epic birthday surprises for her fiancé.
J-Lo, alongside her 11-year-old twins, Max and Emme, and Rodriguez's two daughters, Ella who is the same age as the twins and Natasha who had just turned 14 years old, were in cahoots to set up this surprise. The whole gang suddenly popped in on the former baseball legend right in the middle of him broadcasting the heated Yankee-Red Sox rivalry game that went down in Boston.
The couple's blended family started singing a slow chorus of the Happy Birthday song as they slowly made their way on to the set while carrying a big rectangular cake for their father figure. The former Yankee was taken completely by surprise and looked both delighted and ecstatic to see his little family gathered around him like that on his special day and in the middle of the broadcast.
But that's not all J-Lo had in store for her fiancé's special day. Last Friday night, J-Lo had stopped in the middle of her Miami concert to pay tribute to Rodriguez. She had dragged him up on stage together with their four children and sang him another round of the happy birthday song while the crowd had joined in.
At that moment, some backstage attendants had wheeled out a grand four-tier cake onto the platform which reportedly had thousands of Swarovski crystals formed into Rodriguez's name. The cake also had an edible baseball jersey as well as a bat made out of icing. The extravagant dessert was rumored to cost J-Lo around 3,000 dollars because of the personal touches put into it.
And, last but not least, J-Lo's third birthday treat for the former professional baseball athlete is easily the one he enjoyed the most. During his epic birthday bash held in Miami, the singer had twerked on her man allegedly to her song "Dance Again."
The Instagram video of the pair had gone viral as J-Lo was seen in a pair of denim shorts and a white shirt while twerking at Rodriguez, who was sporting a black shirt and joggers. The room filled with the couple's closest friends cheered them on and began chanting "Go J-Lo" as she danced for her birthday boy.
