In less than a month, Taylor Swift's seventh album, Lover, will finally arrive. The album will house a total of 18 tracks and three of which are already released - ME!, You Need To Calm Down, and her most recently released single, The Archer.
The Archer's arrival became a surprise to the fans. No one thought that Taylor would release her new album's "track 5." But even so, it made a lot of fans more thrilled and excited for the whole album. And just a few days after the release of The Archer, another surprise has been given by the pop singer.
On Wednesday, Taylor Swift appeared in a video on Good Morning America to reveal new details about her upcoming album. And as it happened, she announced that she is set to perform in New York City's Central Park on August 22 - a day before the release of Lover.
Although this is the only detail that she had shared on the program, many fans take it as enough information already to know what will happen next. But according to Entertainment Weekly, it is best for the hopeful attendees and viewers to check Central Park's official website for more details about the said event.
In the past few months, Taylor Swift has been "popping up" unannounced to perform in different New York City locations. As per CNN Entertainment, she has been "gracing" her works recently in the area as preparation and teaser for her upcoming album.
Accordingly, the upcoming concert performance in Central Park fits perfectly in the direction she is taking for the release of Lover. And certainly, fans will be, yet again, present in the concert to give their full support to the ME! singer.
On another note, her recent public feud with music manager, Scooter Braun, has been "quiet" as of late. Although most of the fandom knows that the battle over Taylor's album masters is still ongoing, it seemingly appears that that singer is continuing to move forward with her career.
It is still worth noting that Taylor Swift has called the situation as her "worst-case scenario" and that losing the rights to her life's work is a real "nightmare." Therefore, it is just suitable and understandable if she is still fighting for her rights even if it means that she'll meet a lot of enemies along the way.
Lover will be available for streaming and purchasing on August 23.
