BLACKPINK has not even announced their comeback schedule yet, but fans are already excited about the long list of global superstars who have expressed an interest to collaborate with Jennie, Jisoo, Lisa, and Rose.
In a recent post by All Kpop, DJ Snake bared that he is among the international artists who are set to collaborate with BLACKPINK. Addressing one fan on social media, the French artist said that he is scheduled to make a song with BLACKPINK, but their schedules have not yet met.
DJ Snake originally confirmed the collaboration with BLACKPINK in May which excited fans who want to see a hit come from one of the most popular female Kpop groups and the hit-making DJ. DJ Snake is responsible for the global #1 tracks Lean On, Taki Taki and Turn Down for What.
It is expected that the DJ Snake X BLACKPINK collab will happen as soon as both artists iron out their schedule. BLACKPINK is currently scheduled to perform for the a-nation Japanese music festival on August 17.
DJ Snake is not the only international act that has expressed an interest to collaborate with BLACKPINK. In a recent interaction with a fan on social media, Thank You, Next singer Ariana Grande said that she was down to work with Jennie, Lisa, Jisoo, and Rose, and would even "pass out" if she would get a chance to do a song with them. Ariana met BLACKPINK personally during the recent Coachella Music Festival and even established a friendship with Rose. The BLACKPINK member posted on her Instagram story that the pop star sent her a bottle of her Cloud perfume when it came out.
The Jonas Brothers have also said that if there was a group, they want to team up with, it would be BLACKPINK. Nick, Joe and Kevin Jonas recently reunited to work on a new album after years of pursuing their solo careers and are now busy embarking on a tour of North America to promote their Happiness Begins album featuring the track, Sucker.
British pop group Little Mix also publicly shared that they would like to work with BLACKPINK on a new single. Their statement made their fans and BLINKs excited over the possibility that the two powerhouses could make given their similar genres. Before everyone said that they are eyeing a collab with the Kpop group, The Chainsmokers has called dibs on a collab.
The strong demand from international artists is a testament to BLACKPINK's growing reach in the global scene. Jennie, Lisa, Jisoo, and Rose have sold out major concert venues with their Your Area World Tour and have broken countless viewing records on youtube.
