IT became a success supernatural horror film back in 2017, which is based on Stephen King's 1986 novel of the same name. The movie reportedly grossed over $700 million at the box office, and with that, the second movie - IT Chapter Two - is coming to the cinemas soon. The sequel would flash forward 27 years after the events happened in the first movie, with the Losers Club reuniting as adults.

IT Chapter Two will be released on Friday, September 6, in the United States and the UK. The film also released two trailers, teasing that the upcoming movie would be scarier and bloodier than the first one. Since the movie was set 27 years later, viewers will see a brand-new cast, with James McAvoy playing as Bill Denborough - the adult version of Jaeden Lieberher's character and Losers Club's leader, and Jessica Weixler plays his wife, Audra Phillips.

The new faces of the Club also include Andy Bean as Stan Uris, James Ransone as Eddie Kaspbrak, Isaiah Mustafa as Mike Hanlon, Jay Ryan as Ben Hanscom, Bill Hader as Richie Tozier, as well as Jessica Chastain as Beverly Marsh. Bill Skarsgård, on the other hand, will be back as the terrifying cosmic entity IT, who usually disguised as Pennywise the Clown.

Meanwhile, many initially wondered whether or not the original cast will come back in the sequel. But according to director Andy Muschietti, IT Chapter Two is a follow-up movie rather than a sequel, so it continues the same stories left in the first movie, and the original cast members will still appear in 1989 flashbacks.

That means the child actors from the original movie, including Wyatt Oleff (Stan), Jack Dylan Grazer (Eddie), Chosen Jacobs (Mike), Jeremy Ray Taylor (Ben), Sophia Lillis (Beverly), and Finn Wolfhard (Richie) will all return. The first movie will also get a re-release for two nights - August 3rd and 6th only, with 8-minute new footage from IT Chapter Two, which will be shown in post-credits reveal.

As for the plot of the sequel, the first movie follows the Losers Club as their town of Derry in Maine has been terrorized by IT, an "ancient cosmic evil." The group has managed to weaken and defeat the IT after a long battle, but in the sequel, it returns 27 years later in their town and becomes stronger than ever. So, the Loser Club reunited as adults to fulfill their pledge over the past years, and they must defeat IT once again.
