BLACKPINK Jennie's Instagram account is just the gift that keeps on giving. After hitting the 20-million milestone on the social media platform, the fashion queen surprised BLINKs with yet another reveal through an Instagram story. It turns out Jennie has been maintaining a second IG account.
According to a report by E!, BLACKPINK's Jennie posted a surprise Instagram story over the weekend captioned simply: "A little something for you." It was a screenshot from an account called lesyeuxdenini, which turned out to be Jennie's secret account. At the time of the posting, the account has 99 posts and 87 followers.
However, within minutes, the followers of Jennie's second Instagram account has ballooned to 659 followers. It seems the BLACKPINK member maintained the second account for her more artsy and Instagrammable shots, featuring locations she and her members Lisa, Jisoo and Rose have traveled to, famous spots, sunsets, fireworks and hiking trails.
Jennie's second Instagram account provides fans with fresh insight on the BLACKPINK member's artistic side and proves that her fashion style is also a product of her natural knack for putting things together to create beautiful aesthetics.
Upon closer look though, it seems that Jennie's second Instagram account made no secret who was maintaining the account. It featured selcas of her while enjoying the beachfront, using her DSLR while in front of a mirror, and simply hanging out with her friends.
Lesyeuxdenini literally translates to "the eyes of Nini" in French. In her description, she simply explained, "A story that eye-witnessed," which could simply mean that the photos were the sights she witnessed and experienced. The account was only created in May 2019 and was not following anyone.
Last week, BLACKPINK Jennie celebrated reaching a milestone 20 million followers on her main account on Instagram, closely following fellow member Lisa, who already has 23.6 million posts. Closely inching their way to the same 20-million mark are Rose with 18.1 million followers and Jisoo with 17.2 million followers.
To celebrate her 20 millionth follower, Jennie simply posted a series of snaps on her Instagram with the caption: "20M, thank you world". However, more than the caption, fans were more interested in Jennie's new fashion statement.
In her post, Jennie adopted a retro look with revealing her long hair and her new full bangs. In a simple white dress and unique flair for glamor, she could easily pass for a glamorous star from the 60s or 70s.
