"My heart's been borrowed, and yours has been blue. All's well that ends well to end up with you," Swift sings "Lover." This prompted fans to believe t that the song probably has a hidden meaning - possibly engaged to Alwyn.
Swift's fans immediately went on Tumblr - a microblogging site the singer used the most - and shared what they felt about the song and discussed the meaning of it. The singer liked a particular post of a fan, which fuelled the rumor that she might be engaged with the 28-year-old actor.
Now, several social media users have claimed Swift confirmed her engagement through the song, though she hasn't commented about the speculation - neither has her boyfriend. As of late, the singer hasn't also been spotted wearing an engagement ring.
Still, most of her fans are convinced the lyrics of "Lover" hints Swift and Alwyn are already talking about marriage. Ever since they started dating, rumors have been tailing them and claimed the actor was the one for the singer. Perhaps, the engagement rumors might be addressed once the new album drops later this month.
