Jennifer Aniston has no plans to adopt a child or need her ex-husband Justin Theroux's permission to adopt a child if she decides to do so. As the former Friends star celebrated her milestone 50th birthday this year attended by close friends and family, adoption rumors have been surrounding the Hollywood star.

Woman's Day has earlier reported that Jen was considering adopting the two children of her estranged brother AJ at the request of her father, John Aniston. The outfit further said that the children -- four-year-old Ryat and three-year-old Kira were abandoned by their father and were being raised by their mother, Adriane Hallek.

The magazine cited a source who said that Jen was left at a crossroads after her split with ex-husband Justin Theroux which made her realize how precious life was and how important it was to help her family even though she had a difficult relationship with her brother AJ.

Jen reportedly wanted to play a significant role in the lives of Ryat and Kira and wanted to support their mom by being like the children's second mother. Adopting the kids would also give Jen a chance at the family she has always dreamed of, the outfit further reported.

Gossip Cop has debunked the rumors after it reached out to Aniston's rep who dismissed the report as insane and untrue.

This was not the only rumor linking Jen to adoption as the actress was said to be considering the option as far back as her relationship with Justin Theroux. According to a report by entertainment magazine Heat, the ex-couple was considering a child from Mexico.

The report said that because the former couple each signed for the adoption papers and Jen wanted to pursue the adoption alone now that they are no longer together, she needed to secure permission from her former husband to push through with the process.

However, New Idea Magazine, earlier in the year, reported that it was Jen's idea to adopt after her split with Justin since the actor was not keen on adopting kids. The actress was actively helping out Casa Hogar Sion and Casa Hogar de Los Ninis in Tijuana, two orphanages in Mexico and fell in love with a baby girl during one of her visits.

Both reports have also been debunked by Gossip Cop, who reached out once again to Jen's representatives for verification.
