Read At Your Own Risk: This article contains spoilers for Castlevania Season 3.
Ahead of the second season arrival on Netflix last year, Castlevania cast members had already confirmed that the adult animated web series would continue to air on the platform for a new season. But while the first renewal reports have circulated in June of last year, it is only in November that the official renewal status has been confirmed.
According to Digital Spy, Richard Armitage, who voices the series' main character, Trevor Belmont, revealed in an interview that the series had been given an early renewal. Therefore, the third season was already in works ahead of its second season premiere on the platform.
Although the renewal decision was given early, this does not mean that Castlevania Season 3 will also arrive early on Netflix. Little has been shared about the show's new season schedule. And for all the fans know, it is set to arrive anytime "soon."
It is also quite difficult to predict its patterns when it comes to premiere schedules. This is because each season of the series houses different numbers of episodes.
The pilot run of the show has a total of four episodes. And while having a very short span of airing period, the series immediately caught its market which led to its definite success. As for the second season, it doubled the number of episodes by having a total of eight installments.
Castlevania Season 3 is reported to have two more episodes in its run as per Den of Geek. So, the fans can expect to enjoy a full season with a total of ten episodes once the show arrives on Netflix.
With these things at hand, fans are having a challenging time to predict when it would truly arrive. But even so, many reports and headlines suggest that it will not arrive later than December 2019.
In terms of its plot, the third season is predicted to continue where it last left off. And based on what happened in the second season finale of Castlevania, pointing out to Alucard's newly received gift from Trevor and Sypha's proposal for Trevor to stay, it seemingly appears that there will be new more monsters and vampires in its upcoming course.
Many fans are also theorizing a lot of angles for the new season based on the course of the actual Konami's 1989 game Castlevania III: Dracula's Curse. And as it appears, it looks like the series will be nodding a lot to the events that occurred on the video game. Stay tuned to Business Times for more Castlevania Season 3 spoilers, news and updates!
