Game of Thrones Prequel is now making noise and fans can't help but wondering which character will be appearing in the series. As it will take thousands of years before the original show took place, is there a possibility Lann the Clever will be seen?

Fans may have said goodbye to Game of Thrones when it ended with Season 8 in May. However, in a year or two, they are about to meet a new cast of characters on its spinoff.

Just like the original series, Game of Thrones Prequel will be based on George R.R. Martin's fantasy world. It will be set in an entirely new era of Westeros, at the time before the civilization. So, whose descents fans are about to meet?

There are rumors fans will meet the House Lannister founder, Lann the Clever. However, until today, it remains to be seen who among Martin's characters will be featured in the show. HBO has been mum about the new program, although it has dropped the stars that will appear.

But according to Express, there are clues that Lann the Clever will be seen in Game of Thrones Prequel. As the spinoff series is set in the Age of Heroes, the House Lannister descent may be featured.

The show will be set thousands of years ago before the original Game of Thrones, as it chronicles the world's descent from the golden Age of Heroes into its darkest hour. Everything will be new as it will reveal the secrets of Westeros' history, the White Walkers' origin, the East's mysteries, and the Starks of legend.

Lann the Clever was a well-known figure during the Age of Heroes era in Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire novel series, on which the original show is based. He was said to be the one that founded House Lannister.

Bronn (Jeremy Flynn) even mentioned his name in Game of Thrones Season 8 when he told Jaime (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau), and Tyrion (Peter Dinklage) that cutthroats built House Lannister. It was said to be a profession that Lann the Clever was known for.

Meanwhile, although there were clues Lann the Clever would be in Game of Thrones Prequel, Martin himself hinted that the character might not appear. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, he said the Starks would make an appearance in the spinoff series, but the Lannisters would not.

"The Starks will definitely be there," he said. "Obviously, the White Walkers are here - or as they're called in my books, The Others - and that will be an aspect of it."

There would also be dire wolves and mammoths. However, the Laninisters would not be there yet, but Casterly rock, like the Rock of Gibraltar, would be there. Fans still have to wait and see if Lann the Clever would make it in Game of Thrones Prequel.
