The past few months have been very hectic and challenging for Taylor Swift and her fans. Aside from the fast-approaching release of Lover, the pop singer has been the face of many headlines and reports recently. But while her name is quite apparent in the media these days, it seems that the ME! artist has lost her magic and appeal.
In a post published by Showbiz 411, the article largely emphasizes how Taylor Swift is facing a surprising, and yet, sad music in recent times. And this is all because of the reported general reception towards her.
As per the publication, Vogue's website traffic has been in an all-time low ranking based on the so-called Alexa Rank. And this happened after the magazine has released Taylor Swift's cover story for the September Issue.
While the controversies and issues continue to spiral out after the release of her raw interview, it seems that the magazine's website is not performing well. And although the reason behind is not pretty clear, a lot of reports has already concluded that this is due to Taylor's latest interview.
The same is also true for this year's Fox's Teen Choice Awards. As per The Wrap, the event has sunk into an "all-time low" figure in terms of its viewership records, both in demo ratings and numbers. The demo had a 50 percent decline while its viewership number was down by 28 percent in comparison with last year's records.
As any fan would recall, the network has largely advertised that Taylor Swift is receiving the first Icon Award on the said event. And in the hopes of attracting more viewers, it seems the tactic has failed to do its wonders.
It is also worth noting that in all of Taylor's nominations for the event, she did not win anything at all except for the pre-announced Icon Award. And while having been deemed as the music artist that has the most nominations for this year, she went home with nothing but the pre-announced award.
Aside from these points, many critics also pointed out that Taylor Swift's latest single, The Archer, has been quite silent in terms of its placement on the charts. As it happens, Lover's "Track 5" was only able to bag the 69th place in the Billboard 100. And this is a very low ranking in comparison to her previous singles.
With these things at hand, many are now concluding that Taylor is losing her overall appeal to the media and fans. But of course, her loyal fanbase has remained positive and supportive of her, especially in these times where she faces a lot of controversies, issues, and struggles.
