When The Masked Singer first arrived on Fox last January, it immediately caught the attention of many. Thanks to its creative and entertaining twists, the network is now eyeing the show as its most-watched unscripted series once it returns for a new course.

The Masked Singer is an American reality singing competition on Fox. It is an adaptation to South Korea's very own King of Mask Singer.

Its contestants are all celebrities from various industries who would wear costumes and "masks" while performing. Of course, the judges, audience, and contenders have no idea who these contestants are.

During the first season run of the show, 12 contestants competed for the title. And T-Pain became the ultimate Masked Singer who utilizes the mask of a "Monster." The panelists and judges during the course were Robin Thicke, Jenny McCarthy, Ken Jeong, and Nicole Scherzinger.

As for the second season of The Masked Singer, the format will still be the same. But it will feature a few changes, including the number of contestants and the actual masks that they will utilize during the competition.

According to People, Fox has released a new official teaser trailer for the second season. And based on the most recent material, it revealed six new masks including the Tree, Rottweiler, Rose, Spider, Ice Cream, and a green furry creature.

Previously, the network has also revealed the first eight masks of the second season. And these are the Egg, Leopard, Panda, Butterfly, Skeleton, Fox, Flamingo, and Eagle. This means that there will be two more masks to be revealed before The Masked Singer Season 2 drops on Fox as reiterated by The Wrap.

In terms of the panelists and judges, it has been revealed that T-Pain will serve as a guest judge in one of the upcoming episodes. But as for the in-house panelists, the seats will be filled by the same set of judges. And as for the host, Nick Cannon will also return for the role.

Ever since the show arrival on Fox, it has become one of the fan-favorite materials on the network. This is why ahead of its second season premiere, it has been revealed that the show will also return for a third season after the second course. And based on reports, it will premiere on February 2, 2020, during the Super Bowl LIV.

The Masked Singer Season 2 is set to arrive on September 25, which will premiere with a two-hour special episode.
